Hello,

I am also looking for a team, I can write questions in semi-fluent English-and answer one or two of them a tournament. If this stunning endorsement is sufficient, please e-mail me at aragab at mail dot usf dot edu.

Hey, if you're going to be in Chicago quizbowling it up that weekend, you might be interested in playing or staffing our trash tournament on Sunday. I know that the following teams will be in attendance:

Susan, Ed, Mike Sorice
Matt Weiner, Matt Weiner's friends
Matt Lafer's Army of Sullenness
Bryce Durgin et al.
Mike Bentley? Et al?
Rom

These are the people who explicitly have told me, emailed me, or posted that they will be playing; I did not count any of the "I might be interested in this" posts from the trash thread. If any of the rest of you have formed teams or definitely decided on attending, please email me at adyaphe at gmail dot com. Feel free to post in the "CO trash announcement" thread in the Trash forum, but please also let me know directly by email so I can keep track of things.

I'm tossing my name into this large collective hat. If anyone wants/needs a player semi-fluent in biology and chemistry, send me an e-mail: amoudgil [at] stanford [dot] edu. Otherwise, I'll end up playing solo (and loving it).

Also, is there a Berkeley (or any West Coast) mirror of this coming, or what?

Shantanu dropped our team to go see a relative in India, so we will have our 4th player pending. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: If you are interested in playing (and especially if you like science, but even if you don't we'd like to hear from you) email me at charlie16 [at] gmail [dot] com.

Could someone check in my teammates and I to our hotel? Orbitz tells me that I need to be 21 or older, and well I'm not. We arrive in Chicago sometime on July 17.

Do you have photo ID and a credit card? Usually that's more than enough. Orbitz just has to cover its bases. Is someone in your group at least 18?

I'll be staffing, not playing, but thought this thread would be best for asking if anyone's got hotel space for an additional person - my original plans just fell through, and I'll be in town Fri, Sat and Sun, if you know of options for any of those nights. Email address in profile.

Echoing the need for a place to crash. I'd be happy to take the floor!
