PACE elections results announcement

The Partnership for for Academic Competition Excellence would like to announce the results of its elections for the 2010 to 2011 quizbowl season. At the conclusion of PACE’s internal elections, the following members have been elected to officerships and positions on PACE’s Board of Directors:

Treasurer Donald Taylor
Vice President of Communications Hannah Kirsch
Vice President of Editing Andy Watkins
Vice President of Outreach Charlie Dees
Vice President of Technology Dan Goff
Vice President of Tournament Direction Gautam Kandlikar

The position of at-large member remains vacant pending a special election.

After the resignation of Matt Weiner for personal reasons, Gautam Kandlikar has been elected vice president of tournament direction. Gautam and Andrew Hart will serve as co-tournament directors for this year's NSC. PACE congratulates Gautam and Andrew, and we look forward to their excellent work with the NSC.

PACE apologizes for the delay in announcing a tournament host for the 2011 NSC; we expect to have a host location finalized shortly. We are pleased with the progress of the 2011 NSC set and would like to extend our thanks to all writers for the set for helping us bring you the best tournament possible.
