Imaginary Landscape no. 2 is now clear for discussion. I'd especially like to thank my co-writers: Dave Letzler, Rebecca Maxfield, and Jacob Reed. They came up with many good ideas and provided great feedback on many questions, and really improved the tournament.

I was very glad that you constructed film composer tossups instead of just tossups on popular films. These were excellent and featured numerous strong clues.

I had a great time writing this (or rather, writing the ones I did). Would definitely appreciate feedback, if anyone has any.

This was a fun tournament to come out of retirement from. I was mildly worried that it might skew a hair difficult as Jonathan and I exhausted our leftover ideas from 2011, but it seems that wasn't a problem. I'm glad everyone seemed to have fun--wish I'd been at one of the sites to watch it play out.

The Zimmer one featured a clue from I think True Romance; this piece of music is very similar to Orff's Gassenhauer which was featured in other films as well (such as Badlands and Finding Forrester).

Also, to respond to Mike, the Zimmer clue "You're So Cool" is indeed based on Gassenhauer, but I considered the two pieces different enough that no one would confuse them. I may have been mistaken, but to my ears, Gassenhauer is fairly different from the Zimmer version.
