I'm pleased to announce a global (not region-specific) open Discord mirror of RAFT for high school-eligible players on 4/18. The tournament will run from approximately 10 am to 7 pm EDT. The registration fee is $60/team, and an initial field cap of 6 teams is being set (we also will not run the tournament with fewer than 6 teams). Other details are the same as those for the closed mirror of RAFT.

As I get staff in order, I will likely be able to expand the field.

A sign-up sheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

Hello, I have a quick logistical question about the tournament. On my team (SoCal Lesser-knowns' Unified Lineup (SoCal LUL)) for the this mirror, we have five interested and available players. Would it be ok for some of us to sub in and out during the tournament? Only four players would ever be playing at a time, but this way no one walks away dejected and in a sad world without quizbowl. If this is allowed, we'd like you to let us know at a convenient point.
I thank you in advance for your response!

Yes it's fine if you want to substitute -- but players who are subbed out should not be in either the text or the voice channel of the match room.
Thanks for the email response!
