Hey everybody,
I'm currently a freshman high school player who specializes in history. I'm wondering about how to improve my European and ancient history ability, as there is a major disparity between my US history skill and other categories of history. I'm currently using flashcards, Protobowl, and past packets to strengthen my history knowledge, but I feel that I still have major have room for improvement. Are there any study techniques that you think could help, such as books, resources, websites, etc? Thanks!

For a quick, incomplete answer, this online encyclopedia is a pretty good resource for ancient stuff.

I've listed a bunch of books here—I really recommend the Bell/Grafton The West: A New History if you're just getting started (and if you can borrow a copy or find a PDF).
