The Quizbowl Resource Center

Play Quiz Bowl will be running a mirror of Super ACRONYM 3 on Sunday, October 17 (the day after ACF Fall) at the University of Minnesota Macalester College. We're hoping to make this the "main site" of the tournament and hope to have a good, competitive turnout, as well as a safe environment.

Registration

Registration will be $80 per team. You can sign up as a team or as a free agent (or as a staffer) here.

Health/Safety

Per Macalester policy, masks must be work indoors, andt all participants are expected to be vaccinated.

Really, one whole team signed up? Don't those ACF Fall people know good quizbowl when they see it?

I'll put myself down as a free agent if any more teams sign up.

Unfortunate update on this event - due to a facilities issue, we are not able to hold this at UMN as we'd hoped.

We are currently looking into alternative venues, and plan to make a determination quickly on whether this will be held elsewhere locally or moved to an online format. One way or another, we still hope to run an event on the 17th, but will look into all possible options.

UPDATE - I believe we have a new venue, and am awaiting confirmation. For now, the plan is still to run this, in person, on the 17th. If you're planning on sending a team but haven't signed up yet, please do so ASAP.

This event has been moved to Macalester College in St. Paul. All other info is the same - we hope to see you there!
