Clutch Performances

Post by IndianaMan13 »

What do you think are your teammates' or other team's most clutch buzzes or bonuses?
For me, it has to be Jeffery popping off for us against North and WACA which was the only reason we beat North and crucial to sealing it against Padrig.
Or maybe Noe A making it so that Sycamore B still has 0 Ohio River Derby wins by powering the last question after Gavin went 3/2/2 (Though if we had 13.64 PPB we deserved to lose).

For me, it was probably Jordan's clutch buzz against Redwood (we were leading by 15, but we were still 6/3/0 and they were 6/4/4). they negged, we powered, and we won the scariest game i've ever played!

We were playing Monrovia at a local tournament. It was a semifinal match and we had a chance to win the tournament. Going into the 19th tossup it was 300-300. My brother got the tossup and we swept the bonuses. We ended up winning the game 340-300. That game sent us to nationals.

Another clutch performance I couldn't wait to add. We went to West Point and played Monrovia (yet again). In prelims, we lost to Decatur A, Decatur A lost to Arab B, and Arab B lost to us. Monrovia won their pool and Arab A won theirs. Arab B won our pool and we won the wildcard spot. We ended up playing Monrovia in the semis. We played an HS Regs packet (I'm in middle school!) and did well. We won by over 150 points. It's the most difficult packet I've ever played. I finished with 155 points in that game. We won second place after losing the finals 280-210.

I feel like we have to many of these, but ok, here is mine

Setting- Round 9 of the 22-23 MSNCT

I miss the first for no neg and my brother negs tossup 2, by tossup 6, the score is Howard B 100 Rainbow -5, then, we rallied and at half, it is 130-115 us. We went on to win with a tossup and a sweep to win 270-260.
