This (older) short video is representative of how the script works.
Left-click inserts a pronunciation guide. Middle-click copies a pronunciation guide to your clipboard and hides it. Right-click hides a pronunciation guide. Hiding a pronunciation guide is temporary; the selection will re-appear after closing and reopening the dialog. Pronunciation guides that have been inserted or otherwise match the database will not appear as options when the packet is processed.
There are two important things to know:
- You may see repeats due to more/less extensive matches against the database. For example, Auguste Rodin can generate a match for Auguste Rodin and Rodin if both are in the database. If so, the sentence in which they appear will be repeated in the list of placement options.
- Since all instances of a word are matched, you may generate multiple matches per sentence, question, or packet. Usual practice would be to only add the pronunciation guide once.
