NAQT has made some changes to the distribution for our college tournaments, starting with the 2024 SCT.
Selected highlights:
-Literature, science, and history now have the same top-level weight in the distribution
-Additional space has been added to world history, which is now even with European history (and both have been expanded relative to American history)
-American, British, European, and world literature now have equal weight within literature
-We've added subject-specific breakdowns for branches of math, physics, and chemistry
-European, world, and ancient history now have a number of more specific category breakdowns
