Chapin School in Princeton is pleased to announce that they are hosting their first in-person tournament on April 6th, 2024, at the Chapin School in Princeton, New Jersey!
This tournament will be using the IS-225A set, corresponding to the Introductory Series, which means that the knowledge will be at a slightly higher level than the standard MS packets, somewhat between what Nationals packets are like and what HS packets are like. The tournament will run under standard NAQT rules (15 point powers, -5 negs, no rebound bonuses).
The fees of this tournament are 90 dollars per team, with a 10 dollar discount for bringing in a buzzer system. It will take place at the Chapin School in Princeton, New Jersey. Any middle school teams that wish to attend are welcome to come, but the tournament is capped at 16 teams, so register soon! The Chapin Princeton Classic is a great way to prepare for Nationals by playing a harder set against a variety of local teams.
