Eligibility:

You are not eligible to compete in SNACCC if you:

Scored more than 60 PPG in the prelims of any non-novice collegiate tournament
Were the top scorer (highest overall PPG) on a team that finished in the top 15% of the field, rounded up, at any non-novice collegiate tournament
Scored more than 60 PP20TUH in the prelims of HSNCT or 60 PPG in the prelims of PACE NSC
Were the top scorer (highest overall PPG) on a team that finished in the top 30 at HSNCT or top 10 at PACE NSC
Finished in the top 12 in IPNCT
Scored more than 20 PPG in the prelims of ACF Nationals

If you meet one of the requirements above but believe you should still be able to play in this tournament, we encourage you to email us at [email protected] to ask for an exception. If you do, please email us the full roster of players who you plan for the player to play with, so we can get a better idea of how strong that team will be with and without that player.

Fees
Base Fee: $130
Discount for each subsequent team: -$15
Buzzer Discount: -$10 (Must have 8 functioning buzzers)
Staffer Discount: -$15 (Must have a working laptop)
Shorthand discount (1-2 players) -$30
Travel discount (200 miles) - $10, applied to each team that signs up
New to Quizbowl Discount: -$40 to any team who did not participate in a Collegiate Quizbowl Tournament between September 1st, 2021, and September 1st, 2023
Minimum Fee: $80

Location
All games will take place in Peck Hall on the SIUE campus in Edwardsville, Illinois.
The address for SIUE is 1 Hairpin Dr, Edwardsville, IL

Parking
The best place to park is in parking lot A, which doesn't appear on Google Maps but can be found at the coordinates 38.795396, -89.997896. If this does not work then the next closest place to park that is on Google Maps is Parking Lot E. All parking is free on the weekend.

We will be soft-capping the field at 24 teams but will expand depending on interest and available staff.

A logistics email will be sent closer to the day of the tournament containing information regarding times and food.
