Due to the lack of interest in a March 30th date, Edison High School Quiz Bowl will be postponing this tournament indefinitely. The new tournament date, if any at all, will be announced in the future.

Edison High School Quiz Bowl is proud to announce the fourth annual Eagles’ Academic Spring Tournament (EAST), which will be hosted in-person for the second year in a row on Saturday, March 30th, 2024!

Date: March 30th, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. EST

Location: Edison High School, 50 Boulevard of the Eagles, Edison, NJ, 08817

Set: IQBT Regular Season Set #4 (Regular High School)

Rules: We will use standard NAQT timing rules with 20 tossup/bonus cycles and no timed halves. Five seconds will be allotted for answering tossups, and five seconds will be allotted for answering bonuses unless otherwise stated. The set does not include computational math tossups or bonuses.

Food and Schedule: Pizza will be available for purchase; the order form will be sent out after registration. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m., with an opening meeting at 8:30 and round 1 beginning at 9:00.

The following fee structure will be used:

$85: First team
$75: Additional team
-$10 per buzzer system brought
$50 minimum

We have a field cap of 24 teams. The registration deadline for this tournament is March 28th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., which will also be the deadline for team roster submission.

We will email payment information to all teams after their registration. Payment will be due at the door. We will be able to accommodate cash as well as PayPal or Venmo. If you need to pay via check, please include so as a note when registering and we will contact you via email. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate W-9s or Purchase orders.
