NAQT works to ensure that quiz bowl is a safe, welcoming, fair, and respectful activity for everyone and expects all participants to do the same.
We have introduced an Honor Code that governs participation in all tournaments using NAQT questions (regardless of whether they use NAQT gameplay rules). It applies to players, coaches, chaperones, institutional representatives, other people associated with a team, spectators, and tournament staff. All of these people are responsible for knowing, understanding, and following the Honor Code. We also encourage reporting possible misconduct that takes place outside of NAQT tournaments.
